SINGAPORE Airlines leases 15 units of Airbus A330-300 to support the development of Singapore Airlines. In the agreement, the new aircraft will be delivered directly from Airbus production center between 2013 and 2015.
The planes will be operated by Singapore Airlines for routes in Asia, as well as several destinations in Australia and the Middle East. The aircraft will use Rolls-Royce Trent 700 species.
The aircraft will be leased for a minimum of six years, with options to renew the lease. The new planes will complement the 19 A330-300 aircraft with engines Trends 700, which has operated Singapore Airlines.
